Swing of Things

So it's been a week or so, maybe two! Ha Ha, you can tell that Cody is back I spend less time on the computer. So we spent the first week of Cody being back, trying to get back into the swing of things! I was so used to doing everything alone, now he is here to help! For good this time!

March 14th

First we went to the St. Patricks Day parade down town! It was cold until the sun came up more, then it was hot, and then really long! We had lots of fun though.

March 18th

Then the boys got a little stomach bug. We were not going to go to the Dr. until Carson's fever jumped to 102. Then Carter fell and hit his head on the back patio. So we called and got right in!

March 19th

Our good Friends Christine and Richie had their little girl her name is Mckenna. She weighed 7lbs 14oz!

March 20th
We went down to the Cheyenne Mtn zoo in Colorado Springs! We had tons of fun feeding the Giraffes!

March 22nd

We played at the park!

March 23rd

Cody took the writen test for Adams County Sherrifs Office. He thinks he only missed one question :) Smarty pants!

Yesterday

Cody took the Physical part of the test and tied for 1st place on the run, and completed all of the other requirements! I am so proud of him! 250 people applied and they are only taking 10 of those to do a background check and then they will only choose 5 in the end! Yikes we need everyone to pray for us! We will let you know, if he gets the background check part!

Ps the boys learned how to drink out of a straw yesterday. For some reason this made me really happy!

Oh my gosh!

I can't even begin to tell everyone how excited I am to see Cody! He will be home on Wed the 11th at 10am. I cried today because I was so sad. I feel like I don't have the answers to give Cody, when he calls to tell me about all of our options. So far he is thinking that the National Guard is a good idea. I just try to tell him that I Will support him, and that I don't care where we go as long as we can be together! So who knows I will see tomorrow, he has to tell them tomorrow if he does it.

We had a great day with my Nana and the boys Great Nana :) First we went to the park, and then we went to the mall. Dad brought home roses and cake for Kathy's Birthday! Tomorrow Nana leaves, and I need to get my butt in gear. I need to clean and do some laundry. Oh, and Nana tought the boys how to do patty cake while she was here. Really it is just the clapping part, but to me to see them do that makes my heart melt. Night Night

Backyard Playtime!

So Today we started the day off pretty lazy! It was about 11 when we decided to head out to the back yard. We were still in our Pj's and when I say we I mean me! The boys were all ready to go they had sunscreen and baseball hats on. My Dad was working on diggin up some crappy little tree and Kathy, Nana, and I just sat out there in the lawn chairs soaking up the sun. Carson and Carter were running around like crazy eating dirt, grass, and anything else they could find! They acted like they were helping Grandpa cut the tree. It was so hard for me to just let them go. I just wanted to hold their hands and I had a really, really hard time letting them get dirty. I have not done this until today I just let it all go. Then Carter fell down and his little hand was bleeding and my Dad just let him wipe it off on him. Dad said "little blood never hurt anyone!!" Yikes it was so hard for me today, when I called Cody and told him all about it he said "we are raising boys not girls!!!!"
